Emiel Regis

You probably know this guy... Emiel Regis Rohellec Terzieff-Godefroy. And yes, I have to say this... I love this character. Best-vampire-ever. As you can guess, I was extremly happy when I get the task to create his design in The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine expansion pack. And I was even more excited, when I also had a chance to paint Gwent's illustration of him. So.... here they are.... both concept and illustration... and little bonus in the end. :)

And bonus. My first doodle of the Regis. Yup, I was under big influence of Adventure Time. :)

Cheers!

Lullaby

Quick, based on sketch, for fun and relax (I know how it sounds... :P ). I hope to have more free time to write longer post and upload bunch of my Gwent illustrations. Few of them you can already see on my artstation.

Good night!

Warhammer Interlude

Hi!
Here's some break from Blood and Wine concept arts.

Warhammer universum is so dear to my heart, so from time to time I just have to show my love for it and draw one of my favourite factions (of course Bretonnia is absolutely the best, but recently I painted enough shiny knight for The Witcher 3 expansion pack). I love beastmans for many reasons. First - goats are f***ing cool. Second - chaos is god damn badass. Third - shaman magic kicks ass. Fourth - goats combined with chaos, shaman magic are extremly f****ing cool! I can find you more reasons but you know... I think it;s enough. ;)

So here it is, my cute beasty fighting with noble high elf (phoenix guard to be precise).

One more thing - this time I decided to re-paint some veeeeery old sketch from my sketchbook, with some changes in composition and details. So I hope that some progress is visible between old and new version. :)

Hope you enjoy it!
Cheers!

Dettlaff van der Eretein

As you can guess, he's very special character for me. ;) I'm so thankful to writers team from Krakow CD Projekt RED studio - it was their idea to use my surname as a vampire's name. So... thank you guys! I'm really proud to have such amazing character in my family. ;) Obviously, I was extremly happy when I also get a task to make a concept of him. Full Dettlaff-ception in practice. ;)

 Cheers!

The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine

Hello!

It's about time to make some portfolio update with my concepts for Blood and Wine expansion pack.

I started with concept arts of errant knight from Toussaint, crowd designs and horse armors.

Today I posted on my artstation bunch of elven and human statues, including famous Reginald's genitals. ;)

And, maybe not my best, but I have some sentiment for it (and I just love final result in game) - Cockatrice Inn.

More coming soon, so I hope you like it. :)
Cheers!

Gwent: The Witcher Card Game

One more great project from CD Projekt RED, so I'm sooooooo happy and proud that I was a part of it. This time I created not only a concepts, but also full illustrations for some cards! If you like monster deck you can see for example mine version of Wild Hunt Soldier, Frightener, Nithral or even.... pooping Johnny! Of course there's much more, however we have to wait for Beta version of Gwent. (register for it! it's really worthy your time! :) )

And one more news - you can buy exclusive, limited prints from Gwent on Cook&Baker website <CLICK!>
They're quite expensive, but quality of their prints is just amazing. Also, all prints are signed by artists. So If you want to hang a portrait of Johnny on your bathroom wall, and together make a poop in the moring - I can only kindly recommend you this gallery. :)

Cheers! And see you soon!

Witcher 3: Blood and Wine - update

Hey hey!

It's only few days to our great premiere of Witcher 3: Blood and Wine final expansion pack. You can guess so last month was very intensive for me, so sorry for no posts during that time.

Still, I want to share some cool stuff with you. :)

First of all, I had a great pleasure with my colleague - Kacper Niepokólczycki, enviroment artist - to give a lecture on Digital Dragons. We prepared for our audience case study, so it was great opportunity to show some cool stuff from backtage, mainly my concept arts of Palace of Beauclai. you can watch whole lecture on youtube (link below).

Also check out last game dev diary form CD Projekt RED - also about creatin the Blood and Wine expansion pack and land of Toussaint in general. If you want to see some very nice in-game shots and my dumb face talking about stuff - feel free to enjoy this video. :)

As I said it's only few days to great premiere, so you can already read some reviews on youtube and some biggest game portals.

If you want to see more, you can easily find our teaser, new region trailer, more reviews, relation from our italian events for youtubers (check out Angry Joe's or Rojo's channels) and gameplay videos. Personally, I can't wait to play Blood and WIne, and I hope so you will enjoy Geralt's final adventure as much as I enjoy it.. :)

Cheers!
